Humble Beginnings:
In terms of age, Corpswives is still a blossoming baby! Corpswives was founded with the hopes of providing a low-drama spouse group - a group that promoted the morals of the Corps, and cultivated a spirit of friendship among its members. This organization was founded in March of 2005 - with 1 single member, the founder! Since then, Corpswives has flourished, seeing over 150,000 visitors, and has grown to numbers ranging between 150 and 300 Corpswives sisters at a given time! Corpswives primary form of advertisement comes from referrals, and through word of mouth, and we continue pressing forward daily to keep its promise to stay true to the values of the Corps, and morals that this group was formed upon.

The Corpswives Sisterhood strives to bring Marine Corps Loved ones together, creating a forum for advice, girl-talk and a place to vent. In addition to the social network, we hope that at the very least you will find answers to your questions, and a better understanding of the way that the Marine Corps and its families work. Living the military lifestyle is difficult for anyone, especially for those who are not in the military! Whether you're a seasoned Marine Wife, or a girlfriend about to enter the world of the Marine Corps, the best thing you can do is equip yourself with information. You are not entitled to calls about his status, his location, and can do little to follow him without the vows of marriage! The Marine Corps Girlfriend has the toughest job of all - and the most to learn! We believe that you will gain the most from the information in this site, for many you have yet to fully experience your first move, your first on-base experience, and for some of you, your first deployment.
