Why Donate?
To keep this site running smoothly and to live among a clean site, we subscribe to a hosting service to take care of us. The free sites load our computers up with adware, spyware and just all around junk. For the minimal fee we pay ($10/month), it is worth it for a hiccup free community experience. Plus, Steve, our CW IT Grunt, takes real good care of us!
By no means is this a request for dues or a demand for a membership fee; this is just a simple request for anyone wanting to help on a purely donation basis. Many of you mentioned a willingness to help, and those times come up that we become in need. We update the thermometer on this page to show how we're doing with the account balance. Whenever you feel you are able and willing to help, please feel free. No donation is too small — even $1 will help us meet our next month's payment. But those months go by quickly, and we'd like to have enough for 6 to 12 months.
By now, you're probably asking, how do I donate? Good question! We have a CW PayPal account and you can just click the Donate button below. It will allow you to log right into your PayPal account and donate to the CW account. If you don't use PayPal and still wish to donate, it's easy to sign up and you can use a credit card (alhtough we prefer not doing that; PayPal does charge a fee for credit card payments). If you don't want to use PayPal, please PM SnowCougie and she'll be happy to accomodate to whatever means is most convenient for you.
Goals
We are back on track to just $10/month with the new site and host. We have taken care of all of our design/setup fees and now we just hope to have $10 in the account by the end of each month to keep us up and running. If we could possibly get a year's worth, we could pay it ahead of time and get a little bit of a discount. Thank you ladies for all of your help and support! You are all just fabulous!
